ITALIANO. In questo disco ho raccolto una serie di registrazioni in basso solo e per due bassi in sovraincisione, attuando un'idea che ho coltivato per molti anni. Si tratta di alcune delle canzoni che più amo, entrate nel repertorio del jazz durante il secolo scorso, e di qualche composizione, altrettanto nota, di grandissimi come Wayne Shorter e Bill Frisell.

Ma questo disco è anche un atto d'amore per il mio strumento. Amo la meraviglia creata insieme dai legni e dai pickup: la materia offerta dalla Natura e l'elettronica, insieme, ci consentono un'infinità di timbriche, voci, dinamiche e sfumature espressive, che rendono il basso elettrico pura emozione.

ENGLISH.
On this record I have collected a series of recordings for bass solo and for two overdub basses, implementing an idea that has accompanied me for many years.
These are some of the songs I most love to play, which entered the jazz repertoire during the last century, and some equally well-known compositions by great jazz players such as Wayne Shorter or Bill Frisell.

But this record is also an act of love for my instrument. I love the wonder created together by the woods and the pickups: the material offered by Nature and the electronics, together, allow us an infinity of timbres, voices, dynamics and expressive nuances, which make the electric bass pure emotion.
